Carbon Fiber Fabrics

A woven carbon fibre fabric made from 1K–12K carbon tows in plain, twill or satin weave, also available as unidirectional and multiaxial fabrics. Common weights are 100–640 g/m² (3K/200 g/m² being a typical industrial grade), thickness about 0.14–0.64 mm, widths usually 800–1500 mm and warp/weft densities of about 2.5–12 ends per 10 mm. It is widely used in aerospace, automotive lightweighting, bicycles, surfboards, helmets and structural strengthening or repair in construction.
