Total weight is about 480–1450 g/m² (chopped layer 200–900 g/m² plus core 150–380 g/m² plus woven roving 180/250 g/m²), chopped on one or both sides, in widths of 254–3048 mm. It works with unsaturated polyester, vinyl ester, epoxy and phenolic systems and is used mainly in closed-mould processes and for automotive and rail components.
