Common weights are 200–345 g/m² (e.g. 220 g/m²), thickness about 0.45–0.72 mm, widths from 100–3000 mm (commonly 1.4–1.5 m) and yarn counts typically 1500D. It is used mainly for personal protection such as bulletproof vests, stab-resistant clothing, cut-resistant gloves and armour.
