Basalt Fiber Fabrics

A continuous-fibre fabric woven from filaments drawn from molten natural basalt rock, grey-brown to bronze-gold in colour. As an inorganic mineral fibre it offers good heat resistance, acid/alkali resistance and UV stability, and is a non-carcinogenic, environmentally friendly material. Typical weight is about 200 g/m² (mesh types such as 160 g/m² are also available), commonly 1000 mm wide, with weight and width customizable. Applications include fire and thermal barriers, structural strengthening in construction, corrosion-resistant pipes, and composite reinforcement for automotive and rail applications.
