Four plies of E-glass rovings are laid parallel at 0°, 90°, +45° and −45°, crossing into a dense lattice and fixed by polyester stitching yarn, giving multi-directional reinforcement in a single fabric and high lay-up efficiency. Common weights are 600–1500 g/m² (also quoted as 600–1200 g/m²) with standard widths of 1250/1270 mm, customizable from 200–2540 mm, with optional chopped layers of 225/300/450 g/m². Used for hulls, wind energy, automotive parts, sporting goods and large vessels, using vacuum infusion, hand lay-up, pultrusion and RTM.
